Henry Lee, DDS
Dr. Henry Lee is a highly accomplished and respected dentist with over four decades of experience serving the dental needs of the Olney and greater Washington community. He received his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Maryland, College Park, and his M.S. from the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Lee obtained his dental training at the University of Maryland at Baltimore, where he was elected a member of the Prosthodontic Honor Society.
Dr. Lee has completed the United States Dental Institute program in orthodontics and is a consulting dentist for a major dental materials manufacturer. He is committed to staying current with the latest techniques and materials in his practice and was one of the first general dentists in the country to apply microscopic magnification for all phases of dentistry. This use of microscopic magnification allows for unmatched visualization in diagnosing and treating dental problems.
Dr. Lee is a certified Solea® Laser Dentist, utilizing one of the most advanced dental lasers available. This laser allows for the treatment of many carious lesions (cavities) and periodontal conditions without anesthesia. He is a member of several professional dental organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association® and the Maryland State Dental Association. In 1997, Dr. Lee was elected as a Fellow in the American College of Dentists, an honor bestowed on less than 3.5% of all dentists in the United States.
Recognized for his outstanding contributions to dentistry, Dr. Lee has been voted one of the top dentists in the Washington metropolitan area by the Washington Consumer Checkbook. He is also included in the “Guide to America’s Top Dentists” and is an honors list dentist on Angie’s List, a consumer guide and rating organization.
Dr. Lee has lectured both internationally and locally on Cosmetic and Micro-dentistry and has held leadership positions in many local and national dental and medical organizations. He is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he manages one of the more popular general practice clinics. In 2024, he was selected as the first Distinguished Dean’s Faculty in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry. Dr. Lee is also a member of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry Board of Visitors.
In 2024, Dr. Lee was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the University of Maryland Baltimore for his work with the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and his contributions to UMB students. The Victim’s Rights Foundation awarded Dr. Lee its “Living Legends Award” for his service to Montgomery County and his philanthropic endeavors in the community and education sectors.
He has served on numerous county and state boards and commissions in Maryland, including the Montgomery County Board of Education and the Governor’s Commission for Asian Pacific American Affairs.
Outside of his dental practice, Dr. Lee is active in many civic and local Olney school organizations. He has coached for the Olney Boys and Girls Club for many years and has served as Chair of the Mid-County Citizen Advisory Board and the Interagency Coordinating Board for Montgomery County, where he was the longest-serving Chair. Dr. Henry Lee’s commitment to excellence in dentistry, patient care, education and community service makes him a respected and beloved figure in the dental profession.
Alex Lee, DDS
Dr. Alex Lee grew up in Rockville, Maryland, and attended Magruder High School. He continued his education at the University of Maryland, College Park where he played soccer for four years and captained the team his senior year. Dr. Alex went on to play professional soccer in the MLS and USL, as well as for the Guam national team for seven years, before attending dental school at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He is excited to join his father at the practice and provide exceptional dental care and help patients achieve optimal oral health.
Dr. Alex believes in building long-lasting relationships with his patients and takes time to listen to their concerns and goals. He strives to provide personalized care and create treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs. His gentle touch and calming demeanor help patients feel at ease during their dental appointments. Dr. Alex has continued his education, which includes the newest technologies in Solea laser treatment, 3D printing with SprintRay, ClearCorrect clear aligner therapy and implant placement, among others. Dr. Alex worked at the practice as a dental assistant from 2013-2018 during the offseason of his professional soccer career and is excited to be able to provide dental care to the community at a full capacity. Dr. Alex enjoys spending time with his brothers and continues to stay active through local basketball and soccer leagues.
Justin Lee, DDS
Dr. Justin Lee was born and raised in Rockville, Maryland. He attended Magruder High School and continued his education at Penn State University where he played for the men’s soccer team for four years and was the captain for his final season. He represented the Guam national soccer team for eight years with his two brothers. Dr. Justin graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2023. He is looking forward to working along side his father and brother to provide the highest standard of oral health services.
Dr. Justin is dedicated to building a foundation for optimal long-term oral health with all his patients. He is excited to provide personalized attention, a comforting atmosphere with a team that is dedicated to each patients well-being. Dr. Justin has continued his education including technologies that include ClearCorrect clear orthodontic aligners, Solea laser treatment, 3D printing using SprintRay and implant placement. Dr. Justin worked as a dental assistant and front desk specialist from 2014-2019 prior to dental school. During his free time, Dr. Justin enjoys playing sports, spending time with his family and dog, Pablo.
